Guitarola was born in Chicago in the 1980’s by Dennis Johnson. In the early going John Lewis joined up and now the group (sometimes a duo, sometimes a trio, sometimes a quartet) has been working for more than 30 years. We’ve played wineries in California, hotels in Boston, and Florida, resorts in Mexico and Hawaii and The Bahamas and many places in between. We do our own jazzy and snazzy instrumental arrangements of rock, pop, reggae, Latin and blues covers, and songs from the Great American Songbook.
